Forget about beef and chicken! Try grilling some lamb, but not just any old lamb—try this video recipe for delicious grilled and spicy lamb meatballs with a yogurt dressing. You won't believe how good this lamb meatballs are.

Juicy lamb meatballs are the perfect snack to share with fellow tailgaters - if you're generous. Pop them on a grill and in 3 minutes they're done. Add a cool yogurt dressing and get the party started.

INGREDIENTS:

Meatballs - Makes 12-16

* 1 lb ground lamb

* 2 cloves garlic, chopped

* 1 small shallot, chopped

* 1 tbsp cilantro, chopped

* 1 tsp cumin

* 1 tsp coriander

* 1 tsp chili pepper

* salt & pepper to taste

* drizzle of extra virgin olive oil

Yogurt Dressing

* 1 cup plain yogurt

* 3 tbsp fresh lemon juice

* 4 tbsp white vinegar

* 1 tbsp sugar

* 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

* salt to taste

Dill & Red Onion Salad

* 4 sprigs of dill

* ¼ onion, shaved, soaked in ice water

* drizzle of extra virgin olive oil

* salt & pepper to taste

Special Equipment

* wooden skewers soaked in cold water for 15 minutes

HOW-TO:

Prepare & Grill (or Broil) Meatballs

1. Mix all meatball ingredients and allow flavors to blend for 20 minutes

2. Form 2 oz meatballs and place on a soaked wooden skewer. Grill (or broil) 3-5 minutes or until desired doneness is achieved

Make Yogurt Dressing

1. Combine all ingredients and set aside

Plate & Serve

1. Place a dollop of yogurt dressing on a plate and top with skewered meatballs

2. Toss salad ingredients together and serve
